A DNA profile can offer important information to help police during a crime scene investigation.

For over a decade, Bode Technology has been a leading provider of DNA identification products and services. Approximately one million of the four million DNA profiles in the FBI DNA database (CODIS) were generated at Bode Technology.

We produce and provide the Buccal DNA Collector for use by state law enforcement agencies for the collection and storage of DNA reference samples. The Buccal DNA Collector has been used to collect about a million samples for law enforcement agencies and enables you to generate a full DNA profile for your child, or any member of your family.

The Kit

The Child ID Kit is made up of all the components necessary to collect and store a DNA sample. The main components are the Buccal DNA Collector and the Buccal DNA Collector Transport Pouch with Desiccant.

The kit also contains a Child ID booklet that allows the parents to maintain an accurate record of the Child’s profile and activities – with updated photographs.

Obtaining a DNA Profile

The kit also contains an order form and a return envelope for the parent to send the collector to Bode for DNA processing.

If the parent would like, Bode will process the DNA sample and provide a complete DNA profile. The profile will be displayed on a certificate and an identification card. Visit www.dna-identity.com for more information.
