RFID Portal Solutions

Bode offers RFID portals from Jamison Doors. Utilizing these components, we are able to create a portal that can track items entering or leaving a room automatically. The complete portals are the thin portals and the MOD3 Guardian Portal. Bode can also provide and install portal components if the closed system is not required.

Thin Portals

Jamison Thin Portal™ series offers space-saving features in an aesthetically-pleasing unit suitable for retail, data center, and office environments. The stands offer a variety of mounting configurations, and can be used as free-standing or can mount to the floor against a wall.

Side trims and top available in colors
Optional light dome and motion sensor
ABS covers available in white or black
Power/IP connectors can be placed at the top or bottom on either side of the unit

Hardware Independent	The portal is designed to accommodate most RFID hardware and antenna design/configuration giving the user the most scalable and flexible solution
Full Antenna Movement	Uses a proprietary antenna mount that allows for full horizontal and vertical movement anywhere along the pole, dramatically improving read rates of challenging products
Overhead Antenna	By using Heavy-Connect to join the units (versus conduit) additional antennas can be secured overhead
Rugged Design	Powder-coated steel construction provides a rugged structure that will hold up against rust and other structural degradation
Custom Sizing	Although the portal is designed to fit most dock doorways, the structure can be ordered customized for specific applications by our engineering staff

Basic unit comes with openings for 3/4 in. EMT conduit connectors, Ethernet connectors and 10 ft. power cord cable.

Antenna Mount Kit (same for MOD2 & MOD3 models) includes:

Leg support stands

Holes are provided (and capped) for pulling cables at various locations or when using additional equipment such as light stacks and motion sensors.

Components

For applications where antennas do not need to be covered, Jamison’s Industrial Portals Mix ‘n’ Match system allows you to find the perfect solution for unique RFID deployments. Ideal for RFID pilot testing, or temporary applications.
Using poles, connectors, wall/floor mounts, and brackets, basic components can be assembled in a wide-range of configurations to meet specific mounting requirements. Components assemble and install quickly, and provide both a sturdy and an attractive solution.
