We provide clients with a variety of options when performing DNA analysis on convicted offender samples - PowerPlex 1.1, PowerPlex 2.1 on the Hitachi FMBIO II platform, or ProfilerPlus, COfiler, PowerPlex 16, and Identifiler on the Applied Biosystems (AB) platforms (either the AB 377 DNA sequencer, or 3100 or 3700 Genetic Analyzers and soon with the ABI 310 Genetic Analyzer). The validated capacity of our analytical platforms using the AB instrumentation exceeds 20,000 samples per month, and our capacity using the Hitachi instrumentation exceeds 15,000 samples per month. We currently have the capacity to type more than 400,000 samples per year. These throughput statistics are for completed 13-locus profiles delivered in CODIS CMF format.
