President’s “E” Award for Achievements in Export Growth
The Bode Technology Group received the President’s “E” Award in recognition of its achievements in supporting export growth in the U.S. business community. An “E” Award is the highest honor the federal government can give to a U.S. exporting company. It may be given to people, firms, or organizations engaged in the marketing of products that make significant contributions to the expansion of the export trade of the United States.

The Commonwealth of Virginia Compass Award for Excellence in International Trade
The Commonwealth of Virginia has created an award to recognize a Virginia business which has excelled in global trade. The recipient of this award will have increased its export and international profile while promoting the best interests of its employees and surrounding community. Therefore, the recipient will have contributed to the overall economic health and quality of life of Virginians while increasing the Commonwealth’s profile in the international export arena in a positive light.

Every year, the IACP recognizes the significant impact forensic science has on the criminal justice system. The August Vollmer Excellence in Forensic Science Award has been created to honor the proactive, innovative use of forensic technologies by law enforcement.
Nominations for selection of the 2012 awards are now being accepted in the following categories:
