Bode Receives President’s “E” Award for Achievements in Export Growth
The Bode Technology Group received the President’s “E” Award in recognition of its achievements in supporting export growth in the U.S. business community. The “E” Award is the highest honor the Federal Government can give to a U.S. company or organization for exporting or facilitating export activity.
Bode Technology Wins Governor’s Award for Excellence in International Trade
The award was presented October 15, 2009 by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership – International Trade during the Virginia Conference on World Trade.
The award is Virginia’s highest international business award and was created to recognize a Virginia company that has increased its exports and international profile while promoting the best interests of its employees and surrounding community. Award recipients have contributed to the overall economic health of the Commonwealth, enhanced residents’ quality of life and have brought positive attention to Virginia’s profile in the international export arena.

Every year, the IACP recognizes the significant impact forensic science has on the criminal justice system. The August Vollmer Excellence in Forensic Science Award has been created to honor the proactive, innovative use of forensic technologies by law enforcement.
Nominations for selection of the 2010 awards are now being accepted in the following categories:
- Current or Past Contribution to Forensic Science by Police Agency
- Current or Past Contribution to Forensic Science by an Individual
- Current or Past Collaboration in Forensic Science
- Innovation in Forensic Technology
- Significant Investigative Value in a Major Crime
- Enhancement of Forensic Capability by a Forensic Science Provider
