Bode Technology – Virginia Laboratory is certified by the New York State (NYS) Department of Health (DOH) for forensic identity testing, and licensed by the State of Maryland.

Bode Technology – Virginia Laboratory is one of a select group of laboratories worldwide with the distinguished ASCLD/LAB-International accreditation. This accreditation is based on ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 standards, ASCLD/LAB-International Supplemental Requirements, and the FBI Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing and DNA Databasing Laboratories. Bode Technology has maintained accreditation from ASCLD/LAB under the Legacy program since 2002.

Bode Technology – Virginia Laboratory has also been assessed by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/FQS and granted ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. This accreditation is based on compliance with quality and management system requirements as they relate to the forensics field, and as described in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and the FBI Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing and DNA Databasing Laboratories. Bode Technology has maintained accreditation from FQS since 2006.

APPROVED BY NEW YORK STATE FOR FORENSIC IDENTITY
Bode Technology – Virginia Laboratory participates in the New York State Department of Health Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program, and is approved by the NYS DOH as a forensic identity laboratory. The Department’s certification is based on the FBI Quality Assurance Standards, New York public health laws, and state clinical laboratory standards for forensic identity testing.

LICENSED BY THE STATE OF MARYLAND
Bode Technology has been granted a license to operate as a forensic laboratory in accordance with §17-2A-04 of the Health-General Article of the Maryland Code by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Office of Health Care Quality. The State’s licensure program is based on certification that Bode Technology is fully accredited by a national accrediting body and compliance with forensic regulations released under COMAR 10.51.01-10.51.07.

TEXAS DPS ACCREDITED LABORATORY
Bode Technology has been granted full DPS accreditation in accordance with Title 37, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 28, Subchapter H. The DPS accreditation program is based on maintaining accreditation from a national accrediting body and compliance with Title 37, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 28, Subchapter H.
